Ladies Garda Gravel Camp 2026: Our First Camp of the Season Is Wrapped

Our first Ladies Garda Gravel Camp of 2026 is officially wrapped — and we are still glowing. ✨

For 4.5 days, we rode through the landscape we love most: the gravel roads, rolling vineyards, quiet climbs, lakeside views, and hidden corners around Lake Garda that make this place so special to us. More than that, we got to share it all with a group of riders who arrived ready to explore, connect, learn, and enjoy every kilometer.

From the first welcome aperitivo at Mod05 Bike Hotel to the final ride through Valpolicella, this camp was exactly what we hoped it would be: a mix of strong rides, relaxed afternoons, good conversations, shared meals, and that special kind of energy that happens when women come together on bikes.

The Camp Program

The camp started on Wednesday, April 29, with arrival, check-in, a lobby meet-up, and our welcome aperitivo and briefing. It was the perfect way to settle in, meet the group, and get excited for the days ahead.

On Thursday, we kicked off the riding with our Garda Loop day. After breakfast, we rolled out for a ride among the hills of Lake Garda, passing Garda, San Vigilio and Bardolino, with a coffee stop along the way directly on the beach where everyone fell in love with caffè shakerato. After a little climb back, of course among gravel roads, we had lunch near Colà di Lazise. The afternoon was for relaxing, recovery, and Compex sessions before heading to Agricola Castellani for dinner and a wine tasting. Agricola Castellani is a local organic wine producer, who showed us aronund his winery, and explained us everything about organic wine production.

Friday took us toward Lugana, a route we personally adore because it’s extremely calm, emty roads, no tourists, a lot of long gravel roads and Strade Bianche feeling. After lunch at Buba’s Café and some downtime and recovery at the hotel, we closed the day with a walk to Trattoria al Dosso for dinner together. Here, the ladies tried “Bigoli”, our signature regional pasta that has become also one of our ciaocycling.’s symbols.

On Saturday, we rode toward Borghetto sul Mincio, but not following the classic touristy paths: we rode across secrets spots and paths we have scouted over time. This was a day full of classic Garda scenery, beautiful roads, and relaxed camp rhythm. After the ride and lunch at Buba’s, the group had time to unwind before shuttling to Lazise to visit the lakeside town, and then we had dinner alltogether at Ristorante Le Ancore della Bastia, right in the atmosphere of the lakeside town.

The final day, Sunday, brought us through Valpolicella for one last ride together. After a lunch stop in Castelnuovo, showers, and goodbyes back at the hotel, everyone headed home with tired legs, full hearts, and hopefully a little bit of Garda gravel dust still on their bikes.

More Than Just Riding

What makes this camp special is not only the routes. It is the feeling of discovering a place together. It is the coffee stops, the conversations on climbs, the shared laughter at dinner, the quiet moments by the pool, and the support that builds naturally when a group rides together for several days.

This first Ladies Garda Gravel Camp reminded us why we do what we do: to create spaces where women can ride, grow, connect, and experience cycling in beautiful places with good people.
