Overview

Departing from your chosen location in the south-eastern part of Lake Garda, this tour begins with a gentle warm-up through the eastern Lake Garda hills and into the Val d’Adige, following the scenic Ciclovia del Sole cycle path. After rolling north toward Avio, we hit the main climb of the day — the stunning ascent up Monte Baldo, winding through chestnut woods and alpine pastures all the way to Novezza.

At the top, expect sweeping views over the lake and distant Alpine ranges. We then descend on the eastern side through Spiazzi, passing panoramic ridgelines and forested switchbacks before dropping back down toward the lake and returning to Bardolino. A big, beautiful day for experienced cyclists who want mountain challenge with lakeside start and finish.
