What Is a Self-Guided Tour?
Whether you’re planning a weekend escape or a full cycling holiday, I’ll help you craft your self-guided tour with everything you need: handpicked routes, GPX tracks, local tips, and logistical advice. Road or gravel, solo or with friends, relaxed or challenging — your tour is fully tailored to your goals, pace, and interests. You ride independently, but never unsupported.
How It Works
We Start With You
We begin by defining your destination, days you want to spend cycling, needs and requirements, preferences, and riding style. Based on this, I’ll think about the ideal route, highlights, and offer initial ideas and route concepts.
Local Knowledge, Expert Planning
Using my personal experience and local network of guides, bike shops, and accommodations, I’ll plan your routes, recommend stays, and suggest the best post-ride food spots — all adapted to your needs.
Optional Scouting & Route Check
For longer or more complex tours, especially gravel, I may ride or review parts of the route in advance, ensuring ride quality, safety, and local logistics are aligned. This step is optional but adds peace of mind.
You Ride, I Support
Once your trip is confirmed, I’ll provide everything you need — from GPX tracks and day-by-day ride plans to local tips and on-the-ground support. Whether you want me to ride alongside you as your guide, or prefer to explore independently with everything prepared, your custom tour will be tailored to match your style.
